About Door Creek Church
What an exciting time to be Christ’s followers in this place. God’s smile has been on us, and by His grace we are seeing change. Who would have ever imagined when this church started 44 years ago where God would bring us today?
After many hours of planning and prayer, the Stewardship Board shared the latest expression of our mission, values and vision. Our mission and values are rooted in God’s Word and built on the foundation laid by the faithful leaders of our past. Although our future is crystal-clear to God, it’s still a little foggy for us. However, over the last several months, the morning fog has begun to lift—things are coming into view. The leadership’s vision for the next three years focuses on two key areas—growing in Christ and reaching those who don’t know Him.
As you read this, may the God of the impossible give you a glimpse of what we see and grab your heart that together we might share in His great work. The Bible reminds us that we serve a God who is “able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.” Eph 3:20
Envision what God will do in and through our family. Embrace it with all you have. We will never regret joining God in changing lives to change the world.
