College Students Crave to Make Christ Known

Jul 28th   |   Kristin Karls

Crave is the college-age ministry at Door Creek Church.  The purpose of this ministry is for college-age people to grab hold of the vision in Matthew 28:19 where God commands
His people to go into the entire world and make disciples of Christ.  In the day and age we are living, this is not an easy task.  Universities and colleges around the world are proclaiming to students how to get a good education, a good job, to make good money… ultimately, to make themselves known.  But, the Crave ministry exists to help students understand their purpose on earth as believers in Christ: To make Christ known.

This summer, the Choate and Lynch family have helped serve the Crave ministry by opening their homes and helping lead students in their walks with Christ.  Students have been meeting once a week to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ by discussing different life issues and what the Bible has to say about these issues.  Such topics include trusting God, prayer, giving, and what it means to live for Christ.  Also, students are not only given food for the soul, but food for their bodies as well!

Contact the church offices if you would like to get plugged in or help out in some way with this ministry.
