I’ve been at Door Creek Church since September of 2004, when I began as Pastor of Adult Ministries. I currently serve as the pastor for Door Creek’s North Campus in the DeForest area. I love my job because I get to see our kids, students and adults get excited about loving Christ and living for Him. If there is one thing I’d like you to know about DCC, is that it’s a great place to take your time to explore the person of Jesus without pressure or judgment.

I grew up in Milford, Connecticut…home of Bic Pens & Subway sandwiches. I attended Bethel University in St. Paul where I received my B.A – and proceeded to go to Indiana University where I received my M.S. After grad school I worked for a few years as a faculty member at Indiana University. I am a retired military officer who served over 22 years as both a Marine Corps and Army Reserve officer in the areas of infantry and special operations. Prior to coming to Door Creek, I served over 20 years in ministry with the Evangelical Free Church of America and The Navigators, working with pastors, churches and lay leaders.

My wife Libby and I have been married a long time and we still love each other!  We love spending time with our three adult kids, Brad (Joni), Bettsy (Adam) and Wade.  Oh, and we especially love being grandparents! Other things I really enjoy include coaching football (go Norskies!), eating unhealthy foods, moving furniture for my wife who does staging for realtors.
