Prayer

Prayer Chain
Developed to mobilize "an army of pray-ers" quickly when there are emergency needs within the Door Creek family. To join this prayer chain, visit the Information Center for details. Each year our prayer warriors are asked to re-enlist and commit to the ministry.

Criteria for E-mail Prayer Chain prayer requests:

  1. Although we as a church pray often for needs beyond our own, the Door Creek email prayer chain is for regular attenders and their immediate families. We are becoming a church of prayer! We may expand this ministry over time.
  2. Prayer requests that affect the entire DCC church body and are initiated by the staff or Stewardship Board.
  3. Not every request will be deemed appropriate for the DCC Prayer Chain. When there is a question, a pastor will be consulted. The Coordinator or overseeing pastor may edit requests for conciseness and discretion.
  4. Prayers requested anonymously will be sent only if the initiator and subject are willing to be identified to the Coordinator and the overseeing pastor, and will be subject to the criteria of any other request.
  5. To submit a prayer request, please use our Prayer Request form.

Hebrews 6:10 (New Living Translation)
For God is not unfair. He will not forget how hard you have worked for him and how you have shown your love to him by caring for other Christians, as you still do.

Non-Emergency Prayer Requests
We count it a privilege to pray for any item. Please submit these requests at the Information Center or contact the church office.

Congregational Prayer (The Gathering)
At Door Creek, we gather together regularly as a church family to worship God and to thank Him for His many blessings. We also pray together individually and in small groups to seek His direction for our lives, families, friends and church.

This is a time where we sense the presence and power of God as we learn to depend on Him through prayer. It is our desire to grow as people who pray.

Prayer Classes and Retreats
Whether you have been praying for years or just learning to pray, we have occassional classes and retreats that will help you to grow in your relationship with God through prayer.

Moms In Touch
An international organization for women who desire to pray for school administrators, teachers, staff, students, facilities and of course, their own child. More
