What is the mission of the Family Life ministry? Our mission is to support and equip families with tools to build and shape a healthy biblical family and to help connect these families with each other.
A Weekend to Remember Get away with your spouse for a weekend to refresh and strengthen your marriage. This conference is offered by FamilyLife and will be held at the Madison Marriott West September 28-30. Take advantage of the group rate and get your reservation in early for a room. Get more information at the Marriage & Family table or by calling Mike Grinnell at 839-9659.
Marriage Mentoring If you would like a listening ear and an encouraging word for your marriage, consider teaming up with a Marriage Mentor. Like you, they don't have a perfect marriage, but they have been down the road a bit further and have learned how to negotiate the challenges of married life. You'll be teamed with a couple who best matches your background and wants to be your champion. No long-term obligations here. Try it out for three meetings and see if it works for you. If you think you may be interested, contact one of our team members below.
Couple Espresso You are invited to an evening of laughter and encouragement for your relationship. You'll hear entertaining speakers on topics all couples can identify with while enjoying delicious coffee and desserts. Light table discussion will give you the opportunity to meet other couples like you who want to sharpen their marriage. As you laugh and learn together, you will realize the challenges in your marriage are not unique. So eat, drink and laugh for an evening that will recharge your marital batteries.
Marriage Bible/Book Studies Interested in going deeper in God's Word and in your relationship? You may want to consider joining one of our Marriage Bible Studies that meet in homes between 6-8 weeks. Most of these groups will require some reading and/or Bible study preparation for each lesson. Groups will form as couples express an interest in being part of this short-term offering. Call the church office if you are interested in being in a marriage Bible study.
