Life Events are those events that mark significant transitions in a believer's life and commitments.  These events are cause for both contemplation and celebration and often can be best experienced through the support and encouragement of the local church.

At Door Creek Church we have identified five life events we want to help people experience and enjoy in the context of their church family.  They are:

• Child Dedication - Parents' recognition of God's gift and desire to raise the child in the "nurture and admonition of the Lord." More                         
  

• Baptism - The believer's profession of faith in and obedience to Christ. More
  

• Weddings - The affirmation and celebration of the union of a man and woman in marriage. More                 

• Funerals - The mourning, reflection and celebration of the passing of a loved one into eternity. More

• Membership - The commitment to grow in and serve Christ, His Church and the community through the local church. More
