What an exciting time to be Christ’s followers in this place. God’s smile has been on us, and by His grace we are seeing change. Who would have ever imagined when this church started 42 years ago where God would bring us today?

Last May, after many hours of planning and prayer, the Stewardship Board shared the latest expression of our mission, values and vision. Our mission and values are rooted in God’s Word and built on the foundation laid by the faithful leaders of our past. Although our
future is crystal-clear to God, it’s still a little foggy for us. However, over the last 8 months, the morning fog has begun to lift—things are coming into view. The leadership’s vision for the next three years focuses on two key areas—growing in Christ and reaching those who don’t know Him.

As you read this, may the God of the impossible give you a glimpse of what we see and grab your heart that together we might share in His great work. The Bible reminds us that we serve a God who is “able to accomplish infinitely more than we would ever dare to ask or hope.” Eph 3:20

Envision what God will do in and through our family. Embrace it with all you have. We will never regret joining God in changing lives to change the world.

We dream of a church that is worshiping God with all of our hearts in all of life. A church that loves Christ and is centered on God’s Word— a church for everyone. We dream of a church that is growing together in Christ— a church where small groups provide a sense of belonging and care as well as a place to grow in Christ as you study the Bible, pray, and encourage each other to live it. These groups will increasingly become the catalyst to pursue our mission— changing lives to change the world.

Strategic Initiatives-next three years
1. Have 80% of our people (Middle school on up) growing through a small group experience.
2. Have 500 adults go through the core courses of our Simple Path for Growth.
3. Have 300 go through Good $ense, helping people honor God with their finances.
4. Grow our commitment to pray continually.


 Changing the world starts with our family. Raising up the next generation to love and serve Christ is our future. We long to have our children’s lives radically changed by Christ’s love.

We dream of changing our community as home groups put shoe leather to faith making a difference in their neighborhoods, as we humbly extend Christ’s compassion to those in need, as we set our sights on UW Madison, and as we increase the number of weekend services allowing more people to hear the Good News. We dream of extending our reach for Christ by starting a new work in a new location.

We dream of changing the world with His love as we raise up followers of Christ who love God’s world and want to reach it. We dream of reaching the nations here in Dane county and reaching those not here as we give, pray and go. We dream of more partnerships around the world, and at least one more sister church on another continent.

Strategic Initiatives-next three years
1. Have 100 people a year go on a cross-cultural mission trip.
2. Increase giving to outreach (move from 11% of total budget to 14% by 2011).
3. Explore expanding services through video venues on our campus.
4. Start a new work in a new location.





 Our dreams for the future aren’t about brick and mortar— we want to change lives, we want to change the world. Having said that, we realize that our present facility has helped us reach more people with Christ’s love and we know that we will need more space to help people grow in Christ.

From the very beginning, Phase 2 was seen as a place to expand our facilities to children, students and especially adults. We are maxing out our space with over 3500 room uses a year.

We envision the following to help us change lives:
• Expanded atrium/café— our family room will have good food, resources and an atmosphere that is conducive to connecting with others and building community
• More multi use rooms for all ministries
• Large room for Student Ministries
• Expanded space for Children’s Ministry and offices
• A video venue— a room for additional services as well as small weddings and funerals
