Children matter! They are important to God and so they matter to us!

Jesus showed His love for children by making time for them, holding and blessing them, and rebuking those who tried to keep them from coming to Him.

So, we want to help children come to know, love, and follow Jesus! We also want to partner with parents in their efforts to lead, train, and guide their children spiritually.

To these ends, our Children’s Ministry offers various caring, learning, and worshiping environments for children, birth-grade 5. Each ministry is provided by teams of screened and trained volunteers who love kids and want to make a difference in their lives.

February NEWS

famjamLIVE! February 13/14

Parents and kids (K-5th) are invited downstairs to worship and learn together how to do what is best for others, no matter what. famjamLIVE! is offered during all 3 services.  A group of 4th grade girls from KidJam will perform a short, original puppet show, “Helping Hands for Haiti”.  A collection will be taken with the money going towards fresh water for the earthquake victims.

Parent/Child Dedication

The next Parent/Child Dedication will be Saturday, March 27 at 2pm.  If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more, plan on attending the Parent Meeting on Monday, March 8 at 7pm.  RSPV to Candy at

Volunteer Opportunities

Be the coolest parent, ever! Get involved and learn along with your child.

Infant Caregiver 10:45 (2X/month)

Toddler Caregiver 10:45 (2X/month)

Butterflies (2s & 3s) Teacher (2X/month)

Special Needs Buddy/Shadow (3rd boy 9am)

KidJam Substitute Small Group Leaders and Helpers (as needed)

Mark your Calendar for Vacation Bible School

We’ll be heading off to Egypt (via the lawn of DCC) to meet Joseph and discover that God is always with us.  Kids ages 4-grade 4 will experience Joseph’s journey from prison to palace.  Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 27-Thursday, July 1.  6-8pm each night.  Invite your friends!  Registration will begin in April.

Volunteers will be needed to lead small groups, help with crafts in the Marketplace, lead music, help with props and scenery..and lots more.  Contact Candy for more details.
