I began my job as custodian for Door Creek Church in July of 2008. My responsibilities include: set up for the different meetings that the ministries require as well as maintain, and clean the building. I enjoy my work; especially seeing many people (adults, the youth, and children) are growing in their spiritual lives, in love and service to God, for the expansion of His Kingdom. I am from Honduras, Central America. I graduated as a CPA from the University of Honduras. During 21 years of my career and experience, I have worked with different businesses in the areas of audit, comptroller and management positions in Honduras, Venezuela, and Florida. In 2005 I left my career as a CPA to dedicate my life to the service of God and His Kingdom; serving in the leadership of the Evangelical Free Church, Nueva Vida and providing my volunteered support in performing the accounting records of this church. In 2008 I began my theology studies in the EFCA-Gateway Theological Institute. With the help of God, I hope to finish my studies this year. My wife, Yolanda, and I have two children: Ceidy (19 years old) and Kevin (17 years old). We enjoy our free time at family reunions, going to the movies, and fishing. My family loves seafood (shrimp and fish). God energizes my life by knowing and recognizing that our lives are in His hands. He has wonderful plans for our existence. Nothing that happens to us is unknown to Him. – Psalm37:5 “Commit your way to the LORD: trust and in him and He will do this.” |
