Door Creek Church

I’ve been attending Door Creek Church since December 2000 and on staff since June 2006.  I currently support Pastor Mark Deering and our Worship Arts team, and Pastor Cal Steiner with The Arbors, DivorceCare and GriefShare programs, prepare the weekly bulletin and book the room uses in the church.  I really enjoy working with the team at church.  It’s very difficult to have a bad day when you’re surrounded with this group!  My husband and I have volunteered on the Connections and Resource Desk teams and currently serve on the coffee team at the North Campus.  I worked for 20+ years at a credit reporting agency and four years for a dairy nutrition company prior to Door Creek.

I am married to Jeff.  We celebrated 10 wonderful years together in September 2011!  I enjoy trying out new recipes on family and friends.  Jeff and I love trips to the Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin, bicycling and checking out new restaurants.  My favorite meal is Squash Curry at Sala Thai – hot, hot, hot!  My favorite movie is Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window…Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly – how could you not love it?
