Spring Forward on Saturday night!
Daylight Savings begins this weekend.
Our calling as Christ's followers is to be a city set on a hill shining brightly for Christ.
To truly shine means we need to get off this hill, on the corner of Sprecher and Dominion and become Christ's hands to those in need as we extend the love and mercy of Christ. Micah the prophet reminds us that God has shown us what is good and what he requires from us--"To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." (Micah 6:8).
I encourage you to join us as we extend Christ's mercy. We know from God's Word that this is good--it's good for those who desperately need it, it's good for you and it's good for us as a church. We also know mercy is like a boomerang--you send it out and it comes back to you. Jesus said, "Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy." (Matthew 5:7)
