Intervarsity logoThe International Student Tour of Madison 

August 28th, Door Creek Church is in need of host homes, snacks, people who will drive their cars, people who will ride along (a friend, spouse or older child) to read the script, for InterVarsity's annual Tour of Madison for newly arriving international students.  This is a great way to share Christian love and start friendships with international students.  If you are interested in this great opportunity e-mail  or 608-277-0308.

African Children's Choir

On Sunday, September 19th, The African Children's Choir will perform at 7:00pm at Door Creek Church.  Join us before the concert for a Dessert Fundraiser with the Missions Team at 6:00pm.

The African Children's Choir will melt your heart with their charming smiles, beautiful voices and lively African song and dance.  The children are radiant with hope, musically gifted and wonderfully entertaining.  A free-will offering will be taken to support the Choir's efforts back in Africa.  Many volunteers are needed.  If you would like to help, please contact . 

NOVEMBER

2010 Impact Guatemala Mission Trip
Los Olivos, our church partner in Sumpango, has asked us to participate with them in ministry on November 6-14.  Potential ministries include working alongside them on projects such as water filters, oven building, VBS training, and basic healthcare training.  If you are interested in being a prayer partner or would like help in another way contact .  

Operation Christmas Child
November 15-19th, Door Creek Church will continue to be the South Central Wisconsin Regional ‘Drop-Off’ site for Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Collection,  Operation Christmas Child is a world-wide ministry of Samaritan’s Purse.  Globally, Operation Christmas Child is a program that takes simple shoe boxes filled with gifts for a boy or a girl and gives them to children in war-torn or disaster-worn regions around the world.  This is a great project to do with your children or as a group service project.  Pick up a brochure at the Door Creek Church Information Desk or at www.samaritanspurse.org.
