My family and I began attending Buckeye EFree at the old location in the fall of 1987. I joined the staff on January 1st of 2002. Currently my responsibilities are directing our outreach efforts in the Madison area and overseeing our buildings and grounds. I think the thing I love most about my job is seeing what an impact we can have in people’s lives when we reach out in love, and help them in their time of need. I’ve previously held a number of management positions with ServiceMaster and owned my own business for about 10 years. I have been married to Chris for over 30 years and have two grown daughters; Katie (Nathan) and Laura, who both live in the Madison area. We also have a 3 year old granddaughter, Aly, and an 12 year old golden retriever, Cody. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, fly fishing, golf, gardening and reading. What I most enjoy is coming to work. I love my job and the opportunity to interact with all of our volunteers and people we serve. It doesn’t get any better than seeing people volunteer in an area they are passionate about. |
