Special Needs Shadow
Description:  Provides assistance to the child when needed or requested by teachers or shepherds.  Works to include child in activities while minimizing disruptions.  Monitors the child's anxiety level and ensures the child's safety.  Provides feedback to parents about the child's ministry experiences and makes minor lesson or activity adaptations by taking into account the child's needs or sensitivities.
Spiritual Gifts:  Helps, Encouragement, Creative Communication.
Skills needed:  Enjoy working with children; willing to learn about child's disability and how to best work with the child.
Time and Place:  Match assigned child's attendance in Children's ministry, 2 hours a week or as needed.
