Dwelling Place Childcare
Description: Care for preschool children of the mothers attending Dwelling Place Bible Studies.

Skills Needed: Background check (if not already on file)
Time and Place: Tuesday mornings (can choose as many Tuesdays per month as desired), September - May, at Door Creek Church. Time commitment is 2 1/2 hours per Tuesday.
Contact:
Childcare Coordinator
Description: Recruit, coordinate, and oversee the childcare workers needed each Tuesday morning. Obtain the necessary information on each child enrolled.

Skills Needed: none specific
Time and Place: 2 1/2 hours most Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings during meeting times at Door Creek Church. Time also needed outside the church to recruit volunteers, update schedules, make nametags, and so on.

Women's Ministry Core Team Member
Description: Oversee the planning, vision, coordination, and curriculum selection of the Dwelling Place Bible Studies and its small group leaders.
Spiritual Gifts: Administration, Discernment, Faith, Leadership, Serving, Hospitality, Shepherding
Skills Needed: To be a member who has a growing relationship with Christ and a heart for women.
Time and Place: 4-5 hours/week which includes weekly meetings, preparation, training, and so on, both at Door Creek Church and from home.

Dwelling Place Hospitality Coordinator
Description: Coordinate the refreshment schedule, make coffee, put out simple decorations, and oversee the set-up and clean-up for the morning large group meetings.

Dwelling Place Hospitality Helpers
Description: Assist in the set-up of refreshments as well as the decorations in the meeting areas prior to each meeting. Assist in the clean-up after each meeting.

Dwelling Place AV Technician
Description: Operate the Powerpoint presentation, play DVDs or CDs, and set up the lapel or hand held microphone in either the atrium or Quad 1. Record the speaker as needed using a portable digital recorder.

Skills Needed: Knowledge of computer and audiovisual components
Time and Place: 2 hours every other Tuesday morning at Door Creek Church

Dwelling Place Large Group Teacher
Description: Accurately and engagingly communicate Biblical truth in the setting of a large group of women. Speak on a topic for 20-30 minutes.
Spiritual Gifts: Teaching, Evangelism, Wisdom, Encouragement, Faith
Skills Needed: Experience with public speaking; have taken the class on speaking by Tom Nebel
Time and Place: From one speaking engagement to multiple speaking engagements per year, Tuesday mornings or Thursday evenings at Door Creek Church

Description: Clean up coffee/food after evening Dwelling Place Bible Studies.

Time and Place: Every other Thursday night for 7 sessions starting in September and every other Thursday night for 7 sessions starting in January at Door Creek Church

Dwelling Place Small Group Co-Leader
Description: Lead a small group of women in the Bible study through facilitating the discussion, engaging the women, providing a safe and positive discussion, and valuing each woman.
Spiritual Gifts: Leadership, Discernment, Encouragement, Faith, Shepherding, Wisdom
Skills Needed: To be a member who has a growing relationship with Christ and is able to facilitate discussion of Biblical and life topics.
Time and Place: Tuesday mornings at Door Creek Church as well as individual study time each week completing the Bible study lesson
