Door Creek Church

I have been at Door Creek since 1998 with my family and have been on staff with the worship ministry since January 2011. I manage and direct our Video Café. The Video Café provides people an alternative approach to church using a variety of artistic and cutting edge elements in any given worship service.

I am originally from Dallas Texas, but have had the privilege of spending the better part of my life in Madison. I am part of the worship staff part time, but God has actually called me to business.  I work full time for Wisconsin’s largest chain of health clubs and I love what I do! For me there are two things that get my blood pumping: leading a group of people in worship, and the thrill of a sale! My goal is to be a worship leader in the marketplace.

I love the correlation between business and worship because I think they are one in the same. I believe that worship is best described as “anything that gives God glory.” My passion is for people to develop a Life Of Worship, which is at the top of Door Creek’s list of values. For some people worship can be making a sale. For some it can be changing a diaper, or playing a guitar or singing. And for some worship is walking through nature and appreciating the handy work of God. The icing on the cake every week for me is coming together as a body, after we have all been using our gifts for God’s glory in our day to day lives, and letting our worship overflow as we worship corporately.
