    Monday is Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. In recognition of MLK as an iconic leader in the advancement of Civil Rights, a cornerstone of unity, we’d like to highlight a couple of options for observing this holiday in Madison. Listen to MLK's well known speech "I have a Dream".

      Performances by Madison’s Bagpipers, Chicago’s GMAC Mass Choir, Milwaukee’s Latino Arts Strings Program, Madison Youth Choirs, and a Native American Flute Stylist.
    • 27th Annual Madison & Dane County King Holiday Observance
      6 pm, Monday, January 16th
      Overture Center, Capitol Theater
      201 State Street

      Reverend C.T. Vivian, minister and friend of Martin Luther King, Jr., will be the featured speaker.
